Pitch Perfect, our rehearsal and coaching service, will help you achieve total confidence in delivering your presentation through a process of workshopping, rehearsal and fine tuning.
You know the moment. The lights dim, the projector hums, and you thank your audience for the opportunity to present.
You’ve got a product that’s in its own league. You’ve hired a designer to create beautiful slides. But as the first slide appears, a voice in your head whispers: “Will this actually land?”
We’ll be up front, despite being a presentation design agency, we know that a presentation is more presenter than it is presentation deck. They’re buying you, not the slides. The deck should support the presenter and they pitch for the business. The problem with most decks is that they’re crammed with information, splitting the audience’s attention, or are poorly structured, bursting the bubble of belief built up in the first few minutes as the deviate from the point.
Presenting is both sport and theatre, and like top athletes and actors, the game is won through relentless commitment to excellence. Practice until the movements are fluid, the delivery natural and the timing perfect.
Getting it right requires time and a team to help
How often do we spend weeks preparing the content, leaving the rehearsal to a last minute run-through in front of the mirror? It’s hands down the biggest mistake presentations, so wide-spread that we’ve all witnessed a disaster presentation at some point.
At Superdecks, we’ve developed a process of guided rehearsal in the lead-up to the meeting that instils confidence and a considered delivery. We write presenter notes that provide phrases and cues to help you transition smoothly and naturally, with a focus on tonality that draws the audience in.
The presenter notes are built in tandem with the design of each slide. We consider how the eye follows the visual on screen, and use minimalist animation techniques to reveal just the right words as you speak. The goal is lead your prospect along a straight-line of persuasion, never deviating from a storyline that sells.
Honing your pitch: How Superdecks rehearsals work
The Pitch Perfect package is an optional add-on to our presentation design, and requires two days preparation time once the presentation has been signed off. In the first Pitch Perfect session, we go through the deck as a team, fine tune the script and discuss the how its best presented.
Once the session is complete, we review the meeting and provide our recommendations.
In the second session, we practice the pitch offering advice on tone, wording and pace. An optional third session is for final polish, where we assess several runs-through of the pitch.
Your partner in closing
As the advertising legend David Ogilvy once noted, if we spent as much time rehearsing as we do on the actual work, our results would be profoundly different. He believed in meticulous preparation, and we apply that same rigour to your delivery.
In today’s business environment, attention spans are short and competition fierce. You can’t afford to miss the opportunities that come along, and you never get a second chance to make a first impression. It’s not about sharing information; it’s about winning trust and commitment.
At Superdecks, we see ourselves a creative extension of your team. We’re here to support you in closing deals, securing financing or rallying your team. By balancing design with pitch preparation, we ensure you step into that room not just with great slides, but with the confidence and clarity to truly persuade.
